Signature Dishes
Savory pork tangyuan
The skin is thin, soft, and springy; the pork filling has sweet, juicy meat and pepper aroma, while the clear soup with greens is refreshing.
Assorted sweet tangyuan
Choose sesame, peanut, taro, or red-bean fillings; the soup is sweet without being cloying. Hot tangyuan are softer, while cold ones have thicker skins and take longer to chew; on one day, the tangyuan were also unusually soft.
Braised-pork noodles
The braised pork is fragrant without being greasy, with an old-fashioned flavor; the noodles have a springy, crisp rice-vermicelli texture and enough saltiness.
Braised-pork rice
The pork-lard aroma is pronounced; the fatty meat melts in the mouth and is savory, while the lean meat can be a little tough.
