Tainan CityEast DistrictRestaurant

4.7/ 5

Home-style Shanghai and Jiangzhe cuisine featuring organic ingredients and light, low-oil, low-salt cooking.

Signature Dishes

  • Scallion-Braised Ayu

The seasoning is sweet or tangy; the flesh and bones melt in the mouth, and the entire fish, including the scallions, can be eaten.

  • Steamed Stinky Tofu

It smells stinky but tastes acceptable; the tender tofu absorbs the broth, and it can be made spicy or non-spicy.

  • Shanghai Vegetable Rice

Brown rice and bok choy are eaten together, with a fresh vegetable aroma and a plain, non-greasy flavor; it can be paired with Scallion-Braised Ayu and Fermented Bean Curd Pork.

  • Shanghai Braised Wheat Gluten

Kao Fu is a less common Shanghai cold dish, braised until the sauce reduces on the surface while the essence remains inside; it tastes good but the portion is on the small side.

  • Revolution Milk Tea

Brewed to order with quality tea leaves and Sifang fresh milk, this milk tea is rich; let a layer of milk skin form on the surface, scoop it off, then sip the tea.
