Signature Dishes
Savory congee
The porridge contains dried small fish, dried shrimp, and daikon; the rice texture ranges from silky-soft to retaining distinct grains. The seasoning is light, and you can add fried garlic for more flavor.
Chicken roll
The filling is packed with lean meat and water chestnut; the exterior is crisp, the water chestnut is crunchy, and there is a pronounced sweetness. The texture is both firm and soft, with a slight oily feel overall.
Braised pork
You can choose pork belly or lean meat; the pork belly is rich without being cloying and pairs well with the congee, but some pieces still contain cartilage that was not fully trimmed. The lean-meat version is not oily and is not strongly seasoned.
Chicken intestines
The unusual knotted shape adds chewiness; it also has a bouncy, tender texture, but may still have a slight gamey smell.
Cucumber
It is not the sweet-and-sour pickled style; instead, it is crisp with a sesame oil aroma.
