Signature Dishes
Mixed Sishen Soup
Five kinds of pork offal are served in one bowl; the broth is clear and lightly sweet with little greasiness, but the cuts have different textures—the xiaodu cut is harder to chew, the small intestine can be slightly bitter, and some may find the broth light and thin.
Pork Tripe Sishen Soup
The pork tripe is thick, springy and tender, while the broth is light, refreshing and sweet; the Job's tears at the bottom of the bowl are tender but not mushy, and broth refills are available.
Shumai
The wrapper is springy and pleasantly chewy, and the filling is firm and generously packed, with a half-fat, half-lean balance; however, it may also have off flavors or a fishy shrimp smell, and the sauce may not suit every palate.
Chicken Rice
The fried-shallot aroma is pronounced and it is tasty overall, though some may find the sauce a little scant.
