Beef Soup
The broth is sweet and fresh with a generous meat portion; the meat can be tender, but one occasion found it lean, sinewy, and rather tough.
Mixed Soup
Beef, beef offal, cheek meat, and beef back tendon come in one bowl, with plentiful ingredients and a large portion; the cheek meat is tender, the back tendon gelatinous, and the bowl is very filling with rice.
Chinese Kale with Beef
The Chinese-kale stems are fine and not bitter, with good wok hei; the meat-to-vegetable balance is good, and the seasoning is slightly sweet and not very spicy.
Cabbage with Beef
The cabbage is crisp and the beef tender, with mildly sweet and mildly spicy seasoning that goes well with rice.
Beef Cheek Meat
The cheek meat is pre-cooked, tender with a little gelatinous texture; in the mixed soup, it is like a much more tender combination of beef shank and beef rib.
